Storm in the Desert | Arizona and Mexico Landscape Photography

I was driving south through the desert, heading to Mexico after a day trip to Phoenix, when I saw the beginnings of a storm forming to the east.  The colors and light and clouds were so beautiful, but the close lightening, strong wind, torrential rains and flash flood zones prevented me from hopping out of the car and setting up my tripod.  I couldn't resist pulling off to the side of the road every 10 miles or so to grab a few photos out the window of my car though! These are posted in the order they were taken, so you can watch the sky and desert change.
